We Bought a Christmas Tree Farm!
We are the Hostetler’s and we bought this u cut tree farm from the Doolittle Family in the Spring of 2022. Husband and wife, Deven and Sarah, along with our son, Austin are the new proud owners of Evergreen Timbers Tree Farm (formerly Evergreen Acres). Deven and Sarah have 4 sons who help on the farm.
Is this your full-time job?
Unfortunately, no. Deven, Sarah and Austin all have full-time jobs. Austin is also enrolled part-time in college. Deklyn and Caden are full-time college students. And Koen is in high school.
Have we always wanted to own a tree farm? Short answer- no! But when we found it for sale, we called right away to walk the property. Even though the temperatures were in the 20’s, we fell in love with it right away. We also fell in love with the tree farm business!
What all do we plan on doing with the tree farm? As we shared with the former owners, we will be continuing to grow and sell Christmas trees! We will slowly be adding fun things to the farm to add to the experience here. Always keeping it family focused and a place to make memories.
